  • Raise and Lump Sum update
    Posted On: Mar 09, 2022

    Good morning,

For those of you that might not be aware yet, we did not get the 2% pay raise or $2000 lump sum as expected- see excerpt from APO Danielle Craig's email (minus swear words) :

    Subject: Don't shoot the messenger.

    Hey Everyone.

So, we’re being told that the 2000$ one time lump sum will not actually be paid tomorrow.

This is the contract language we agreed to:

“B. Effective during an employee’s payday closest to March 6, 2022, active employees receiving a paycheck for services rendered or for leave time will receive a two thousand dollar ($2000) lump sum payment, less applicable taxes and deductions. This lump-sum amount will be pro-rated for seasonal and part-time employees. Intermittent employees covered by this Agreement will be eligible on a pro-rated basis based upon hours worked in the twelve months immediately prior to January 1, 2022.”

And this is what we are now being told:

The language that we negotiated was interpreted to mean to process the $2000.00 with the payroll that begins closest to 3/6. Those payrolls are actually paid later this month. The employees will get the $2000.00 with their paychecks also showing their increase on 3/23 and 3/30.
